The xplane plugin complains during the first run, then the build works on a 2nd make: Never mind, I just saw they're only listed as WARNINGS, not actual errors. I've gotten a bit further by setting up a clean Ubuntu 16.04 test environment (VM) and installing a ton of development packages (both their 64- and 32 bit versions. The named hpp file looks harmless enough, but then again I'm no c++ expert. Makefile:129: recipe for target 'all' failed
